Sitting at my desk. Staring at the computer screen. Only the pitter patter of rain on the air conditioner in my head. I look out the window at 3pm and see a gray, cold, dreary sky. How can it be? The weekend filled with blue skies, sunshine, and streets filled with people and pets. Spring was in the air! And I am not going to let it disappear no matter what the weather man is saying.

And with on click of a button the computer screen fades to black. I grab my bag and head out into the damp afternoon. A glass of Prosecco awaits. Why? No special occasion. Just a way to keep the rain at bay…in my mind.
