april marks the start of autism awareness month, and we here at postmark want to tell you about an organization very close to our heart: kyle’s treehouse.

kyle’s treehouse is a non-profit online community where families dealing with autism can go for support, find treatment options, join discussions, and help other families as well.  founded by jennifer and jeffery westphal after their son kyle was diagnosed with autism in 1998, kyle’s treehouse is now one of the best resources around for families dealing with autism.  kyle, a budding fashion designer, designs one-of-a-kind handscreened t-shirts that can be purchased here , with all proceeds going to support kyle’s treehouse.

if you want to support this vibrant and much-needed community, donations are also greatly appreciated and can be donated via kyle’s treehouse website.

two postmark favorites are also doing some great things for autism awareness month. both linnea’s lights and hester van eeghen will be donating a portion of their profits to kyle’s treehouse this april.

linnea’s lights will be donating 10% of each sale to kyle’s treehouse throughout the month of april. each natural double-wicked soy candle is hand-poured, clean burning and packaged in recycled materials. visit orange and pear and order linnea’s lights’ new spring scents such as lavender, white coral and mimosa while helping a worthy cause at the same time!
