holidays in july

this past week, the always-charming vosges soho store served as our home away from home during our annual holidays in july event. this was my first year helping out and it was fabulous. chocolate, champagne, purses and more. what else could you ask for? the boutique was a sight to see.

we had brand new linnea’s lights candles burning in the corner, which would have stolen the show if we weren’t also offering champagne and chocolate at the door. as editors made their way in, we offered them the most scrumptious truffles from vosges, which i would know, because i ate them religiously throughout the event. the next stop was the bubbly. henri’s reserve was kind enough to let us sip and try their new private label that launches this fall. let’s just say no one left any champagne behind.

from there the aroma from linnea’s lights’ vetiver, hearth, and holiday spice scents drew you in closer.

placed next to the candles were my guilty pleasure, vosges haut-chocolat and its new sister brand wild ophelia. vosges did not disappoint and we are so excited about all of the new holiday flavors and never-before-seen creations. wild ophelia, on the other hand, is as fun, american and colorful as vosges is decadent. the flavor are to die for with combinations like sweet cherry pecan, peanut butter & banana, and burnt marshmallow & caramel just to name a few.

the final stop at our holidays in july even was hester van eeghen. the wonderful artist who is bringing her quirky european aesthetic to america through her luxurious leather pieces, one stylish accessory at a time. i can’t wait to show you peeks at her lush fall and holiday looks, in vibrant colors and decadent materials like suede and stingray. holidays in july, it’s safe to say, was a smash hit and we’re looking forward to sharing all of our clients’ fall/holiday 2012 releases with you soon.
