a new launch for postmark* is the ‘blog love’ feature. there are so many inspirational blogs and website out there it is hard to choose the best. what really is the best? we believe the best is what resonates with us on that particular day. and that changes quite often over at the markoff group.
imagine, if you will, a food craving ~ i don’t crave feta cheese and kalamata olives every day, some days i lust for a bomb pop from the mr. softee truck and other days it may be the cavolonero salad from il buco ~ similar to the same feeling we have with our favorite, obsessed with blogs. our most favorite ones being those with personality, whit, and charm. not all blogs we love are about fashion or home decor. they happen to encompass thoughts and obsessions from our daily life that seem to change daily.
below are two of my favorites today. one is new to me and one is my tried and true…

my newest discovery (yesterday in fact), while perusing Bon Appetit, i saw these fabulous linen table runner made by Emerson Made. i tore out the page, adding to my infamous collection of tear sheets, hurried home and looked up her website ~ fresh, witty, artisanal, and hand crafted. i hope you enjoy as much as i did on a rainy sunday.

~ Whipped the Blog
Whipped was created by my dear friend and direct marketing extraordinaire, Caroline Lubbers. her writing is infectious, filled with humor, good energy and good food. i am particularly obsessed with her ‘on your mind’ polls she does monthly. i wish she would write a book on her adventures through food. it would be my go to travel and beach book. i suggest you run don’t walk to her blog and sign up for her rss feed. it will become your daily respite from the outside world.
